Spurs still a big club?

Recommended Posts

Of course we are.

I'm sick of hearing otherwise.

Fact is, there are only four clubs in this country whose support is not only nationwide, but also have huge fanbases all over the world. Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs. And in time, I can see Chelsea joining this list.

In the last fifteen years, only Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have won more trophies than Spurs.

And, off the top of my head and without checking, only those same four have reached more Cup finals.

The 'big five' haven't changed much in the last fifty years, with only Chelsea replacing Everton being the difference.

All this bollox about Newcastle. They haven't won a trophy since the fifties! Why do people call them a big club, when they have almost zero support outside the north-east?

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!

No.

We were up until the start of the Premiership and the Champions League.

But Arsenal and United have both overtaken us now.

We have, however, won more European Trophies than the scum, and we've also played in a European Cup (now Champs Lge) Semi-Final, something Arsenal have never done!!

And I think only Liverpool have won more European silverware than us. (Out of the English clubs, obviously).
