Excellent performance from all the team in this, our last pre-season fixture. So proud of each and every one. The Daggers Manager for tonight heaped nothing but praise on our boys.

 

Well done Johnny Lawrence, Alan and Paul for putting together a team that every fan can be proud of. Well done to the players for working hard pre-season and giving the fans such superb value for money.

 

No illusions about the league campaign being a tough nut, but when Saturday comes - bring it on!

Final score from Hornchurch Stadium.

 

The Daggers reserves took the short journey to Hornchurch in their penultimate pre-season friendly. There was one first team member in Ashley Vickers against the Urchins who will now play in the Essex Senior League under AFC Hornchurch this coming season.

 

Billy Holland opened the scoring for the home just before the interval, however on the stroke of half time Danny Heale doubled the Urchins lead. Before the second goal Richard Worrall hit the post with a good effort. The final goal arrived for the hosts ten minutes before the end from Pamplin.
