DJ MOVES TO BILLERICAY

 

Boro striker DJ Campbell has joined Ryman Premier outfit Billericay Town on loan.

 

The Essex side had already tabled a 4 figure bid for the 19 year old subject to a loan period and the loan was completed in time for DJ to feature in Tuesday evenings 0-0 draw with Purfleet.

Dudley "DJ" Campbell (Forward)

Signed from Chesham Utd at the end of the 2000-01 season, Dudley Junior has made an immediate impact at Broadhall Way. In his first game of the season he lived up to his potential and netted twice against Hayes. First team chances have been few and far between since, but there can be few doubts that he is a flair player. Started his career as a trainee at Aston Villa before joining Queens Park Rangers.

Apparently he wasn't signed in time to play against Yeading on Saturday (there is a 7 day registration period for FA competitions) but he is available for future rounds (assuming we beat Yeading)
