Last couple of innings I've played, I've lacked a bit of confidence.

 

I got that 12 a couple of years back (c&b Ashley), which I was more than happy with, as I was about the third highest scorer on the team *(and got more than Jimmy!), but I only scored 4 last time.

 

I'm not going to be afraid to go for my shots this time. I played far too defensively in the past and still got out, so I may as well get out attempting a six!!

Yeah, I can't take anything away from you at all because you got me good and proper, but I saw the ball coming and thought I'd smack it for a boundary.

 

Only thing was, I saw everyone around me and got worried I'd do some serious damage if the ball hit anyone, and pulled out of the shot.

 

Must have been the easiest catch you've ever taken!!

I wouldn't worry about hitting the fielders mate. If they didn't feel comfortable they would have moved back. I know it's a natural reaction not to want to hit them but you can't let that put you off.

 

A one handed diving catch to my left wasn't it ?
