Well, I doubt it is that simple. Company taxation is pretty complex in the UK so I'd expect it to be even more so in the US.

 

I think you are just proving my point that you making sweeping statements without actually looking properly into the facts.

 

I can well believe that they may offer certain incentives that they maybe able to offset against their taxable profits, but as for reducing the % of tax they have to pay, I doubt it.

 

You honestly think the US government would say to Microsoft ok, you make massive profits, but hey you've taken a few staff on under this Welfare scheme, instead of paying a rate of 30% tax on those profits just pay us 10%.

 

Not a chance mate, not a [****!!****] chance.
