That's just a daft comparison, 100's of teams cash in on their big players and buy inferior players. I mean didn't West Ham replace Defoe with Zamora, Fulham replace Saha with McBride etc etc

Kanoute would probably do OK in the Spanish league. The likes of Paolo Wanchope and Diego Forlan have gone down a storm in Spain.

Seems that Kanoute is almost definitely going to Seville.

 

Coming in, we have Dirk Kuijt from Feyenoord (£9.5m) and it also looks likely we'll sign Jermaine Jenus for a baffling £12m.

 

I still wouldn't mind signing a defender or two. Particularly a left-back. Edman is okay, but would still only be average at a Championship club.

The news will be regarding kuyt, the deal is as good as done as we have bid the release amount in his contact but this will not be completed until kanoute is moved on.... He keeps on turning clubs down..

Still bid for £14m for Owen. Owen turned down Newcastle, We are the only bid on the table from an English club. We maybe taking him on a years loan with an option of signing him if we get into the CL.

1. So we've bid for Owen? Would that mean the dutch fellow would still come, would that spell the end of Keane as well if they both come
