Converting Files - HELP PLEASE!!!! - Technical People!!

How does one go about converting a .wmv file into an .mpeg, please?

 

Can this be done?

How long is the WMV file (IE how many minutes).

I've got several, but none are more than about 5 minutes each.

If they can't be converted to .mpeg, is it easy to convert into VCD files?

The tool I use will do 2 minutes for free. If you want more you need to buy a licence.

 

It's called ImTOO 3GP Video Converter. You can download it. I've no idea what it costs for a licence as I only use it to convert the short videos from my phone.

I'll try Webbo's free trial downloading thing. What I want it for is really not worth forking out for the full software, though.
