who was on trial a couple of weeks ago has left AFC Wimbledon because of wages, maybe thats why we didnt sign him.

 

Taken from the NLP Dons manager:

The manager was left frustrated after ex-Dagenham goal-getter Tony Boot’s wage demands proved too much.

 

"Tony and I did talk terms but unfortunately his background as a full-time professional in the Conference means we are unable to offer him what he needs," the Irishman added.
