Busy day today and I've just returned to the office.

 

While out in the car I was 'entertained' by a Press Conference given by our leader. Why can't Blair speak like normal people? There is a scene in my second favourite movie - Die Hard 2 - where the repulsive TV news reporter Cliff Thornberg addresses the American Nation live on TV from a probably doomed aircraft circling above Dulles airport waiting for clearance to land, running on kerosene fumes etc. Wringing his view of every ounce of emotion from the moment, Thornberg says two words, waits what seems like 5 minutes and then adds three more. Pathetic. Holly MacLean gave him a blast with a Tazer to bring the broadcast to an end, mercifully. Tone speaks just like that. All the damn time.

 

Anyway. If I heard it correctly the lunatic is going to deport, expel or lock up [or maybe all three] anyone who supports international terrorism.

 

Now. Blair would have everybody believe that Iraq under Saddam supported international terrorism despite the fact that there is no evidence in support of that assertion. [i'll pass on the opportunity to comment on the Weapons of Mass Distraction that didn't exist.]

 

So anybody whio didn't support the two most dangerous people on the planet in the illegal and illegitimate invasion of Iraq is, ipso facto, mutatis mutandis, without prejudice and subject to contract, a supporter of international terrorism. I'll ask him to deport me to Southern Italy, the Bay of Naples, please.

Bit pointless, the really dangerous people are already expelled from the country, hence my luxery cave with stunning views of the Afgan/Pakistan border.
