Paul Scally has revealed that Medway was back as a possible location for the new stadium, he said there will be some exciting news about the new ground proposals in the next few months.

He went on to say, he did rule out Medway but the council has started to look at possible alternative sites, however we are examining other options.

Lets hope that Medway Council sort out these alternative sites, so the other options are not required.

Word on the street is that the site will be near Esporta in Strood - on the left at the bottom of the hill by the river. Buckets of room, brownfield site, good road links, the potential for a dedicated railway station on the Victoria line. Only an idiot would turn down a chance like that.

Have we got grants from Gravesham then, as I was led to believe that we are still waiting on grant money for the plough end. As for scully, he needs to worry about putting out a strong squad for the comming season, rather than trying to move.

The stand grant is coming from the Football Foundation no the council.

Why would they pay to improve something they don't own?

With so many decent existing sporting venues spread across London (Crystal Palace, Wembley, Wimbledon etc etc ad infinitum) - how on earth does he see his team's ground and facilities (based in Medway or otherwise) being part of those plans?
