Won 1-0. Sylvester whatisname got the goal. Darren Watson played but no sign of Leon.

Darren got the goal. Played for nearly the entire match, and was very entertaining.

We were more attacking this time, had more control in every area, and dominated the opposition.

Not setting the world alight upfront yet, but better (as in more attacking) then previous.

Dean Standen played again, and was pretty good.

Sub goalie got a run out, and did OK. Defence solid. No sign of Heerro, bit of a shame.

Lots of changes in the second half, a lot of the young lads had a chance to show their stuff.

Hope Wellsie will do a match report, as most of the names of the triallists escaped me.

Cheers for the update TonyM and MargateFan. Good to see the Gate got the win. Something to keep morale up for the Carnival Sunday and of course the Ramsgate match. A little concerned that Margate only got one goal though. How many chances did Margate have?

No one creates chances-the strikers whoever they are-can't really be expected to make their own chances

Darren, Sylvester, Leon, Moses Thats looking the most likely at the moment. Thats if rumours regarding Leon are true. Thought the new keeper done well not that he was troubled much deffinently one for the future.

Another face in the crowd was Jermaine Defoe, thought I doubt he's joining either us or Ashford. Goalscorer was Elvis, not Darren, and thought the most impressive trialist was Hashim Dean - bit of a mini Sodje I thought. Paul Egan looks solid.

He played as a centre back last night, not the tallest but quick and strong. He was the same bloke who came on at right wing back at Chatham and did well.
