Dagenham Defender

Tim is a hard working physical defender, makes some thunderous tackles - but don't expect great distribution. He scores quite a few from set pieces (in the air). Not the quickest, prone to the odd howler, his clearances often go as far up as they do forwards, but a good player who many will be sorry to see going out on loan.

Oh, and you will be amused by the way he runs, he sort of twists his torso - you will know what I mean when you see it.

Thanks for that Alan. It's also good to know that the fans will miss a player, it means that there must be something good there

It's also nice to get a sensible reply which is more than I can get on your Forum

Tim Cole is a crowd favorite, no nonsense defender, but missed most of last season with injury, coming back for the last few games only (and managing to get sent off at Northwich). He's having trouble getting back into the first choice XI and I'd guess if he's playing for you it'll be to get back match fitness and prove he still has it at Conference level.

The reason you are getting nothing off the Daggers forum is that the loan move was denied by the club yesterday when you first posted it and seems to have been removed as a result.

After a few similar incidents last season (Margate claimed to have signed Steve Heffer and it was a guy called Steve Hafner) people get the [****!!****] when this sort of thing comes up. The club are pretty good at letting the fans know what is going down, but are denying this one.

Let's see whether Tim is at Stonebridge Road or the Crabble tonight I guess. I'd guess it may be your place, but you never know.

Well I spoke to Andy this afternoon, and he confirmed that all the paperwork was in place and that Tim would be involved tonight. (We had 4 strikers and a keeper on the bench Saturday so we need some balance)

If the denial has been removed it's likely that it has gone through
