Difficult to rip the shirt off Kanoute's back though, particularly when he's had it longer.

 

It would basically tell the player (Kanoute) that he's third or fourth in the pecking order.

I would be inclined to hang onto Kanoute, as he's the only player we have of that ilk really.

 

That said, I think he'll be fourth choice striker now, particularly after the good pre-season that both Keane and Mido have had.
