Season Tickets 05/06

I know that in the past Roy has always stressed the value of season ticket sales to the club. My cheque is in the post.

Mine too - i'm with Ian, i can handle losing £80 a lot more than losing the whole club.

Ian, I am also willing to risk the £80 or so for the good of the club.

 

The one problem I have is not the risk of losing the £80 but whether the club want me and I would assume the majority of last years season ticket holders to part with their money.

 

For nearly 3 weeks now we've been told the renewal forms would be dropping on our doorstep and as of today still nothing.

 

At recent friendlies I've heard people grumbling that they haven't received their season ticket renewal forms and because of this have decided not to renew them.

 

At the Uxbridge game people tackled Roy about it and he said they will be sent out as of the Monday.

 

Because of the lack of guarantees this year I'm sure their are some people who will not be renewing their season ticket but there is also a good percentage who will regardless of the clubs situation.

 

I can only assume these letters have not been sent out because, unlike at the beginning of other seasons, there is no good news to report other than we have a team and we will be starting the season.

 

I am appreciative of the fact that people have made it possible to receive these renewal forms on line but for various reasons, like myself, I'm sure most people are still waiting for it to come by post.

 

As you say the club would benefit immensely from the money up front and if things take a turn for the worse could play a crucial part in our survival this coming season.

RR, can you drop me an email as I know a lot of the forms were emailed out on Thursday night, and those who we did not have an email for were printed and posted on Friday. I have the forms and am happy to either hand them over tomorrow (through Emma as I won't be there) or you can download them from the site and print them if that's easier?

Perhap it would have been a good idea if the trust had isued the Season Tickets, and held the Money until the Season started before handing it to the club. Then if things went tits up the money could have been returned to those who bought them, this would have im sure persuaded more fans to buy them.

I am not sure Roy would have been too hot on that idea but it has (I think been done in the past).
