Season Tickets 05/06

Season ticket application forms will be out in the post in the next day or two, but could all those happy to receive the form by email (it will be made available electronically tonight), can you please email Roy requesting the season ticket forms via email. This will obviously help the club by reducing the cost of postage and printing and as many applicataions via email as possible are requested.

I have just emailed Roy to say that as the season ticket forms are being sent out, can we assume that in the absence of any announcements that a) the rent for next season has been paid to Windsor and B) sufficient funds to run the team for the next season have been forthcoming? I suspect that a lot of people buying seasons would not be happy if the team were to run out of money before the end of the season, or not knowing where the matches were to be played.

Thanks to all those who've responded thus far. In addition to the above, the forms will not be emailed back to user, but a link will be provided to download the full pack of details which would be posted out (cover letter, application form, fixture list & advertising leaflet) as I am not sure of the file size as yet for this pack. If the file size is still relatively small (less than 1MB), then it will be sent as an attachment, otherwise, it will be made available for download.

The form has the ticket on with discounts for those paid before the 19th August. Details of where to send the cheque and who to make it payable to are marked on the letter and also on the application form for the season tickets.

Andrew,

Did you get a reply to your thread? Has the rent been paid and the funds for the season forthcoming? Why has this part of the thread been overlooked from a club more than willing to take fans' money for season tickets? It can only be that the rent has been paid etc, etc....

read the papers...

for your answers...

so where do we go from now ?

I personally think , after poor Peter Simpson has had time to sort out his personal problems..it will be time to sit down and see what takes place ...they need us and we need them !

so talks will take place I am sure....soon...

but please remember Peter Simpson has just lost his wife and all the supporters of Slough send our condolances to him and his family.

The problem is that the club is asking supporters to make a financial commitment (paying for the full season now) that the club are not making to Mr Simpson and WEFC, their landlords. In effect, STFC is asking for payment in advance for events that may not happen at a venue that is not secured. Additionally, we dont even know if the season ticket revenue will be used to fund 2005/2006, or just be consumed by existing debt and commitments. Perhaps better to pay at the gate for now.

If there's any debate over whether the rent will be paid, the upfront payment of season ticket money may help greatly to alleviate the problem. On that basis I'm prepared to pay my money in the best interests of Slough Town Football Club.

If the worst came to the worst and STFC disappeared at some stage following that I'd be left with a far greater loss than a mere eighty quid which would seem irrelevant in the circumstances.

It would help the Club immensely if season tikets were purchased up front.
