I think last season we only played 4 friendlies so the preparation will have been better with six games played albeit against lower league opponents. What worries me is that we have lost two of our best players in Clarke and Stadhart and possibly 3 if Ross goes to Gravesend which appears likely and we have not got quality replacements in. Also with Rocky gone and no Che where are the goals going to come from? Between them they scored about two thirds of all our goals last season (and Clarke weighed in with a few as well ). I have not been impressed with the new strikers trialling for us but we have appeared fairly solid at the back even without Ross. Keister could play in the middle of defence but if and when he gets suspended I think we would struggle so we need some more defensive cover. We must get Mark Green signed up asap.However 42 0-0's will not keep us up and we have to find a decent striker from somewhere.
