The new signings looked good, overall the performance was pretty poor though. Mario got his 1 minute to impress as usual! This has got to be the worst pre-season I have seen in terms of performances, let's hope that we're treating this purely as a fitness enhancing period.

mario played 90 mins against us tues night. scored a very good goal..as he has done against us before. him, theobold, gregory, mcghee and sterling played. 2-1 canvey.

We were dire but let`s give Histon some credit, they battled all game and never gave us time on the ball in fact they looked fitter than us which is a worry.

We gave up on the singing due to the appaling turn out. £5 and 2 new signings, what else do people want?

a Goal would be nice, although we did have two disallowed and if Sterlings shot went it, it would of been the best goal of the season so far

That season we got thrashed by Folkestone and Gravesend was pretty dire. Agree it was appalling yesterday. I'm getting fed up of these friendlies. Roll on the real action.
