Club Announces Passing Of Elizabeth Simpson

I have been asked to make the following statement by Kevin Stott:-

 

It is with much sadness and regret that we announce the death last Saturday of Elizabeth May Simpson, wife of Club Chairman Peter Simpson. Elizabeth died in hospital after a long illness aged 72 years.

 

The funeral will take place at St Michaels Church Bray at 2.00 p.m. on Tuesday 9th August and will be followed by a wake in The Oakley Court Hotel's Windsor suite from 3.00 p.m.

 

Elizabeth's life was quietly permeated by Peter's involvement with the club and indeed without her continuous support he wouldnot have been able to support the club in the extraordinary way that he has for many years.

 

All those associated with the club who wish to pay their last respects are invited to attend both the funeral and wake if they so wish.
