Just to say the 20th of August cant come quick enough. As a really loyal and mad supporter i so miss the pre match booze ups at the Mech Elephant and the Princess of Wales. Then on to the club for banter and fun with the away fans.

Lets make the 20th really special and have all those characters back at Hartsdown, RE Geoff the Grim The Reaper, Butler the Burger boy, Andy G he is just mad, Porka boy, Chris im a dad miles, Alan The Gut Champs, Barry i cant stop laughing Allport, John john the Arrrrh Bodyform man, Melvin the moaner, Tammy the Margate Gigolo, Tony the pony, and many more we should all meet up early Sat the 20th be great to have a supporters nite out Re clubbing and meal and most of all watching the BLUES WIN!!!!!

Looking forward to the 'sleeps with his sisters kids' chants, 'merchant banker' gestures at away supporters and chants of 'Kinnear out'.Just like old times and the rest of us should wear caps to doff at such legendary loyal supporters when they show their faces again.Don't forget to invite Bongo and his mates.Yes we need all the support we can get, yes everybody's got the right to choose if they go to games or not but no they don't have the right to turn up out of the blue and start acting like they're loyaler than loyal having deserted the club in it's darkest hours.

Both anonymous views can be accommodated if we all decide to keep the best bits from both points of view (large noisy crowds, some 'characters', but also the unique bonds of frienship that us few Ashfordies from last year formed). But we can also cut out the less pleasant bits, such as nasty or abusive language and horrible chants, and bitching amongst ourselves. I for one hate all that stuff.

The club is making a new start at Hartsdown, so I see no reason we as fans cannot do likewise. We should be able to grow with the club, and it is, after all, up to us as supporters to help make it what it can be.

Nothing wrong with a good knees up.
