Suffered tonight from having too many players in who aren't first teamers. We were missing Daly, Wilko, Harris and Hodges and it showed.

The Macedonian left back looked reasonable out of the new boys but other than that I thought we were poor and beaten by a side who wanted to win far more than we did.

Lost 1-0, pretty uninspiring stuff really. A number of trialists with no real impressions made unfortunately. Many did some good things, but when it came to releasing the ball or producing a final pass/cross it let them down. Saying that thought Bizzu looked OK when he came on though.

Chopper, Daly, Wilko, West and Hodgie (Housesitting: Translation - getting lucky ) all missed the match. Leigh Mason was our best player before he went off and Shepherd played out of position at centre back. Plus points were Lovegrove and Ballard (again)

Closest we came was a Leigh Mason free kick first half, and a Seedel header from a Rav Braich cross second.

To sum it up I think we need a few new players as a lot of the trialists are not good enough, but i'm sure Eddie knows this though and will pull through some gems as he has done in the past.

Oh and comedy moment of the match came when the female Hemel physio came on to treat a player. The Physio after treating the player then decided to walk across the middle of the pitch when the game was actually taking place and despite some funny looks did not even attempt to quickly leave the pitch - classic!!!

Poor girl did not get to go on again, as they had a second physio treating the Hemel players!
