New Bar For Away Supporters

We are just putting the finishing touches to a new building installed at Park Lane which will allow away fans to enjoy a pre-match drink and relax in comfortable surroundings before and after each game from the start of the season. A selection of rolls/sandwiches, pies and light snacks will also be available and we have also installed two brand new TV's with Sky to make visiting Canvey a more enjoyable experience regardless of the result.

 

This new facility has been created by generous donations and hard work by a small army of helpers and will hopefully be well received by all visiting fans who we invite to place a scarf, banner,or pennant within this new bar to begin a collection that we hope will grow over the years.

 

Prices will be no different to our home clubhouse which are generally cheaper than the pubs nearby and we hope it will be well used by all visiting fans to whom we offer a warm welcome.

Well done to all those volunteers for putting their spare time,skills and effort in. It looks fantastic and i'll be chasing those signed shirts now!!

 

Seriously, i hope all away supporters appreciate all your hard work, and have many a sorrow drowned in there aswell!

Now all that needs doing is to get some alchol free Guinness on tap in the home bar. That would make my journeys home up the A12 a little less eventfull. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/busted.gif" alt="" />

Carpets are fitted and we are open for business.

Anyone interested in having a "butchers" we are opening this bar on thursday evening to give it a trial run before the Aldershot game. Everybody's welcome, and a big thanks to all the helpers with this project which we hope will generate an additional income for the club.
