Gary Sippetts

Just wondered if anyone knew whats happening with Gary Sippetts? He was given a chance and I thought he did well enough to earn a place on the bench at least and he's playing for the reserves (scoring well I hear!).

And what about Hollenbach? To bench a player of his quality is criminal! Even my dad says so! (God sorry I sound like Mad 64). Lets hope he doesnt get fed up with it.

Sippetts played for the Reserves on Saturday and scored in a 2-1 win, apparently - Deacon scored the other.

According to the Managers Notes in the programme [that's positively the last one I shall buy], Robbo thiought Hollenbach looked a little tired in the Harrow game and he was rested against Hitchin, Enfield and Woood.

Tired? TIRED? They are supposed to be finely tuned, professional athletes, these people. £10,000 a week, Club Ferraris, and what do we get? Tired. I've never heard anything like it in my life. A 10 mile run every morning before breakfast, that should sort him out. If he's still 'tired' after a week, make it 15 miles. Tired.

Good point there, but i still think that both Sippets and Hollenback should at least play at least some of a game. Personally, i think both are very valuble players, as well as the rest of the team, and i think that evryone should have a chance to proove themselves.

There is also the part of playing for places in the first team, and if there is competition for first team places then hopefully players will want to play better to impress and win those places.

However, if they haven't had a game for a while, then how the hell are they still tired?!

Well anyway, at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter, there must be a strategy for why the players are not being played in the first team, and soon enough i'm sure that the management will play them.

I feel that we have a good team out there, and granted, the game on Tuesday was a disapointment, but we can only pick ourselves up and carry on. We've done so well so far with the team that has been used, we can still do well in the future.
