Uxbridge

I don't think there's a problem with the Uxbridge fans or some of the club officials, some of the words in the programme introduction were well informed, well put and sympathetic to our plight for which we're greatful.

Yes, whilst the style of play is fine, there were little incidents going on all over the park, and whilst I'm sure our lads are no angels (Someone put in a heavy challenge on the half way line I think), the aggressors were mainly wearing red and the fact the Uxbridge players are trying to blame the referee for being 'weak' beggars belief. His officials and he did very well to control the situation as well as they did I thought as it could have been a lot worse.

I hope the Uxbridge management do the right thing and get Bamford (presumably his brother will go with him) out of the club as what he did not only tarnished his own reputation, but that of the club. If he is allowed to stay, surely you as supporters need to be thinking twice about following the club if that sort of action is acceptable to the management?

As Emma said, obviously we would still come to support our team but I certainly wouldn't bring the kids. I wouldn't be prepared to subject them to that type of example or put them in a position of feeling uncomfortable/frightened by what they see on the pitch, or hear around them.

I have been reading your site and thought it would be a good idea to give an Uxbridge view on Saturdays disgraceful events. I would like to start by saying that I hope Stuart Bamford never plays for us again, what he did on Saturday was disgusting.

Good to see their are some nice honest people out there- cheers for posting mate

Thanks for your honest view of the incident.

I think Bamford should be banned from football for life, anybody player who commits that type of cowardly assault should be ashamed and not allowed to call themselves a footballer.

That said, if I were in your shoes I would be finding it difficult to comprehend and come to terms with the fact that the team that I support have a manager/director/board who apparently condone this type of violence.

Should a statement be forthcoming from Uxbridge condeming Bamfords actions it will be too late because as far as I'm concerned it should have been done immediately or within 24 hrs otherwise it just seems that you've bowed to pressure and is not the clubs true feelings.

Changing the subject,

How good are your strikers if Matty miller could not get in your side ? Dont make sense to me brother !

She wants the Thugbridge player who twatted Hodges arrested!! " Nobody punches my Ohdgie! " and Yes, she always says 'odgie with an Oh(dgie). Bless her, she is only 11. Good way to wind her up, tell her he will never be as good as Westie!

Richie, surely you do not mean spoonfoot. He was so bad, he made me look good. Not a patch on Mark Quamina ! I should be up for the first home league game on the Tuesday night, and then again for AFC Wimbledon. For the motley crew if you fancy a curry on the Saturday let me know. Will sort out the prediction league fee with Ian same time.

Just for Richie i have put My 'real' fave players down...........and yes, some of them should have really been put down!

Thing is, I can think of some others. Russell Edwards. Paul McKay. The McVie brothers. Lee Endersby. Paul Coombs. Simon Bochenski. Simon Quail. Dave Rainford. David Adekola. Steve Black. Lee Walker.

I bet there are loads I have missed, especially Leon Bell! Although when I first mentioned him in the fanzine years ago, he wrote and complained, all the way from scotland!
