Choir Practice

Wednesday night is going to be used as official Yellow Army practice for the new season. The 3 drums will be there, under the bus shelters and get training for the season ahead. Get as many people as possible down there and we can let the players know we'll be behind them from start to finish this season.

 

Also, what's the rule with Practice/Practise? I never know which one to put (bloody pointless if you ask me!)

Practice is the practise of doing something in order to get better at it, so in this instance Glen, you used the correct form of the word. Practise is engaging in an activity in general, as in a doctors practise. A doctor isn't practiceing because he isn't attempting to get better by doing it, he is practiseing because he is following a laid down set of procedures. When I was looking for a drum I put the word around, I have just had a call someone who has a bass drum, I can have for free.

 

It needs a new skin, apparently it is part of a kit somone is getting rid of, any good to anyone??????

If it's free let's have it. Bass drums are expensive but a new skin ain't. Will sound good with our three snare drums.

 

I know Fred is practising very hard and plans to be in tune with the Yellow Army.
