I would imagine that the shiny paper and printing would cost a bit.
Maybe some larger size posters that can be sold separately in the Club Shop would be a more financially viable option?
Thinking about it, I'd buy one and put it up in the office!

How many of you on here would seriously buy these posters. As I would like to try to see if I could persuade my company to perhaps print a few posters, perhaps as a limited run. To do this I need to know so I can try to sell the idea. Then hopefully get them to talk to the fleet trust about this idea. I cannot guarantee anything, and yes, I really do work for a printing company. So this is no hoax. I will state now, I cannot guarantee anything. Just try to sell them on the idea.

Perhaps if someone from the club is looking in, perhaps they can give me some ammo for a sales pitch.

Perhaps someone could set up a poll on this. And also give quotes of how much they would be willing to pay for these items.

I was thinking of A3 Size images, laminated, and say a offcentre overhead shot of the ground, and a team picture, then invidivdual posters of the players.

Anyone else got ideas for some pictures. Sensible ones obviously.

I've heard that the club team photo is being done at the ground this Saturday, 6/8. You may want to contact them.

Also rd79, another suggestion is, if you can arrange a limited team photo print, why not number them. Who is to say that in decades to come, when we're in the Premiership they could be worth a few bob.

To be honest the programme has increased in price from £1 seven years ago to its current over-inflated price and the only thing that has improved is the quality of the colour and print, everything else has gone backwards ie accurate stats, up to date information (within two days print), and interesting articles (many of which have been mentioned above and were regular features back in the old days).

A programme should include information that is unique and not simply a re-hash of stuff people have read the week before in the local newspaper etc.

Unfortunately, to be able to produce a programme of content quality and factual up to date accuracy, much hard work is required, week in - week out.

But, at the current price versus the current content it is very poor value for money and sales will continue to struggle unless there is a major upturn.

Surely something like the programme could be a colaboration between the Gravesend Reporter and the club. Since the Gravesend Reporter I believe is still a sponsor, and they do print news every week. They would be able to produce some great news stories and information. Would this not be worth investigating?
