Yes, six months on from the final Baggy Mondays at the Social - I've got

some news for you.

 

On Saturday August 20, baggy stalwarts Flowered Up are playing at Koko (what

was the Camden Palace). And guess how they want to DJ before and after? Yup,

I'm dusting down the ol' Northside tunes and we're good to go.

 

I saw Flowered Up playing the Boston Arms a couple of weekends ago and they

were ace - 'Weekender', in particular, sounded amazing, but they also had a

new tune which, to my immense surprise, sounded great. I can genuinely

recommend seeing them.

 

So, tickets for the show will be onsale soon and cost £8 or £10 (don't think

they've decided yet), obviously you're not used to paying for Baggy Mondays

fun, but this is a proper Saturday night shindig, open till 3am in a

1300-capacity club, So it should be a cracker. The folks from Koko also said

that if I went down well, they might well book me again...
