More or less drove past it on the way to Sudbury

 

If we win this game we will play Heybridge in the final.

will us and heybridge use the players we had last season, excpect the players he have both sold and brought in? anyone have the answer

We used the Under 18's. I would think that we would use it as a pre season for the first team...but who knows.

 

We mustn't forget that the U'18's played superbly to get us to the semi finals against teams who were older and more experienced than they were. Which is an indication of the depth of talent we have at New Lodge.

I think I've answered this one but I'll try again...

 

We don't know. I would imagine that this is a first team fixture and as we do not have a first team game on Saturday, a first team full squad would be available but...

 

The U18's got us this far (<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />) and the decision would rest with Justin and Matt...Now where did I put that crystal ball <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

 

I will ask on Wedensday and Thursday (club nite - feel free to come down and share a drink) and post the answer here. If it becomes a U18 fixture or a mixture of both first team and U18, I sincerely hope we can get as good a support as we had at AFC Sudbury, as the club isn't just about the first team but about the success of the club as a whole...and the U18's play some great football.

I believe it will be a first team squad travelling, although i would imagine thos of last seasons under 18s that have been training with the first team (Sean Stannard, Chris Wayman etc) may get games.

 

On the subject of this year's under 18s, their first friendly of the summer is this Sunday at Bowers.

Yes,We will be playing Heybridge in the final of the Eastern floodlit cup compertion, held over from last season.
