Northwood and Wealdstone both won, but Harlow, Hornchurch and Barking all drew.

Wealdstone, Hornchurch and Barking haven't played any of the three strongest sides (Hornchurch vs us excepted) in the league as yet, whereas we've played Harlow and Northwood, although both at home, and have been lucky enough to come away with four points.

 

Wealdstone are expected to fall away after Xmas, Northwood's squad isn't strong enough usually and they usually fade later in the season when injuries and suspensions take place.

 

Hornchurch should be there come the end of the season if they continue to throw money at it, Harlow seemed to ooze class when we met with some players missing through injuries and Barking are widely tipped as contenders, although again, I feel they made fade.

 

Our problem may well be lack of squad stength in depth again. Additions are probably going to be made to the current squad, but we need another quality striker should Sammy's goals dry up.

Don't rule out Yeading, they have made a poor start but should be up there.

I'm not totally sure about them. They looked a quality outfit when we played them last year, but other teams were turning them over and wondering how we'd struggled against them.

 

I think their bad start may affect their season as it did ours last year.
