Ballard is a different type of player totally. Much more agressive, whereas Sauls was seemingly more composed and more of a ball player than Ballard appears to be - that's not to say Ballard's distribution has been poor, just I thought Sauls had better ball use.

 

That said, Ballard has impressed me in the two matches he's played so far and looks to be a real steal.

My first thought on hearing about saulsbury was '[****!!****] him'. The man obviously thinks it is all about money and has no class. He wasted everyones time on tuesday. Nice of him after he was voted by everyone as player of the season to use us(and Maidenhead) as a bargaining tool to get more money out of staines. So if he is happy playing in front 100 supporters a week so be it! I may be wrong, but last time staines went around headhunting offering silly money didn't they start running out of money and half of the big earners went by christmas? Maybe he likes watching Spencer mince out of tackles?

As for hating Staines, Maidenhead, or Even Windsor: Not me, Only one team I really hate, and thats THE Scum. You know, Westy used to play for them and Tony Adams, Bless him, got them Relegated. (I hate saying their name.)

Rant over, but, The People like, 'odgie,daly,mets, and wilko, have stayed with us, when they could have left for varying reasons. We CAN build a very good side around them, one season mercenaries are not needed. looking forward to seeing Saulsbury in a Windsor kit in a year or so!
