ive reached the edge now.. im running on fumes i need either more beer or sleep .. myself and my usual beer buddy have decided to give up for a month after getting smashed (and thats proper smashed not your student gay smashed.. eg a CZ smashed) on thursday, saturday and last night.. unfortunatly an annual occurence is on the horizon..

once a year my missus goes away for the week with her sister, taking both the kids and the dog... leaving me home alone.. this week has now been named 'hell week'.. and it starts this friday.. fk it!..

I've hit something of a vicious circle now.

 

I'm so fking knackered thanks to youngster screaming for two hours between 2am and 4am every night, that the only way I can stay awake in the evenings is with the aid of a bottle of wine.

 

This fks up any sleep I get at night, and I feel crap by 11am the next day.

 

Get home at 5pm and only alcohol can make me feel better. (I've tried kipping in the evening - makes me feel worse).

 

Have to halt this slide somehow.

Beer is a fantastic pick me up. After work recently I've gone in the pub, had one or two beers and after feeling stressed, a bit rundown and generally knackered I've felt alot brighter, wide awake and far more relaxed.

 

As long as you don't go binging, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Yellow, I've seen what beer does to you and you weren't what I'd describe as brighter. Stick to the shandies!
