He obviously directed a comment at the referee following on from the defender going through him just after he shot in the first half. General swearing and abuse at anyone other than the ref players will usually get away with, but if someone swears at the ref, it's usually a card of some colour! That's the only thing I can think of.

I can confirm that Matt's yellow was for a reference to the ref's parentage ! Roy Gumbs of Sycob directed some foul words at one of our players well within the hearing of the ref and lino and nothing was done so I reckon Garry got it dead right
