Should be back tomorrow, according to the echo. Looking forward to seeing how Essandoh and Fewings link up!

Soccer: Fewings set for Billericay comeback

Billericay Town striker Paul Fewings is expected to be fit to return after a three-match injury-enforced absence from the starting line-up when his former club, Chesham United, visit New Lodge.

Both Fewings and midfielder Richard Graham were with tomorrow's visitors last season and will be particularly keen to see their side back on the win trail after Tuesday's home draw with Bishop's Stortford.

The biggest doubt for the home club tomorrow is full-back Dave McDonald, who faces a late test on a shoulder injury but is rated by manager Gary Calder as having a 60-40 chance of being fit.

Calder realistically admitted that his side had been fortunate to gain a share of the spoils in midweek and was full of praise for goalkeeper Jerome John, who pulled off four breathtaking second-half saves to ensure his side were not beaten at home for the first time this campaign.

Said Calder: "Although I was far from happy with our overall display, Jerome was exceptional. It was certainly a case of a point gained rather than two dropped."
