Burnham 1-2 Sough Town

Slough took the lead with a sliced lob from Glen Harris after 15 minutes or so. Burnham equalised after 30 minutes with a neat finish at the near post. Ian Hodges secured the win with a scrappy goal that ricocheted off him and a defender and span into the net while he was on the floor. Matty Miller had a goal disallowed for offside in the first half.

Andy Ballard looked good at the back alongside Steve Daly who's clearly been borrowing Wilko's sunbed.

Ballard did look good along side Daly, especially liked his no nonsense approach to the game.

Only bit of concern for me was the left hand side. None of the players from my point of view looked great down that side.

Agree Ballard played well. I though Sam Shepherd was the best player on the pitch though. Left hand side is a bit of a worry, but I understand Eddie has a few ideas for players in those positions.

I'm sure we will see a few different faces over the pre-season campaign as trialists come and go and Eddie makes new signings.

Also thought Johnny Mason looked good when he came on as well.

Congratulations to Christian Metcalfe who was missing as his partner had a baby I understand. Anyone know where Dan Cann is or if Eddie has invited him back?

Mason did look good and is not afraid to have a shot which is big plus. I actually thought Larve looked quite good on the left hand side. Daly and Ballard look to have a chance of developing a useful partnership.

I think Lovegrove will probably play left hand side of the three at the back. He's on his way back from injury at the moment but should be ready within the next couple of weeks according to Kevin.Should fit in well alongside Ballard and Daly do you think?

How many we taking to tomorrows game?
