I agree. Margate needs as many of its players from last season as it can keep. Otherwise itll take longer for the team to form properly. It would be great to see Margate ht the ground running come August 20th and having players from last season will help in doing that.

if i remember rightly sam sodje trialed for several higher clubs 2 seasons ago and ended coming back to us.they didnt know what they were missing so lets hope the same happens with ross smith

Saw Woking at Lewes yesterday. No sign of Ross Smith or Charalambous.

Not too surprising as unfortunately Ross was with Fleet at Lymington-not sure if Crawley had a game in which Alex undoubtedly would have covered himself in glory again

Alex did not make the subs bench for Crawley yesterday, but regardless would be happy to se him back in proper midfield position for Gate.

 

Given a full season of coaching i'm sure CK can improve his game further
