http://www.hornchurchfc.com/2004/reports/6.shtml was the game from the 3rd August last year - a very wet night from what I remember. I think we had to drive through a storm to get there. And Clarke got stretched off, and was on crutches for sometime after that game.

There are two Biggleswades - Town and United!!!!!

They both play in the Spartan South Midlands I believe Town in Premier and United in Div 1.

But I could be wrong. I usually am! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Correct - there are two senior teams in Biggleswade - the United ground is actually at the back of the Town ground, behind the far goal, but at right angles to the Town ground - both are comletely sepearate from each other.

The team tomorrow is Town -

BIGGLESWADE TOWN

Biggleswade Town joined the joined South Midlands League in 1951, and then moved up into the Eastern Counties League in 1955. Their highest position was ninth in 1961/62 and after a disappointing season in 1962 they joined the United Counties League. In 1986 they again became members of the South Midlands League, and were runners up in 1986/87, and also finished third on three occasions. For 1997 they, along with other SML clubs, were founder members of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division North, moving into the Senipr division the following year. They now play in the Premier Division, and finished tenth last season.

In the FA Cup they were drawn at home to Hornchurch in their debut season in 1990, drawing 2-2 and losing the replay 3-1 at the Stadium.
