Looks like Jon Gardner has gone to Banbury and Andy Ballard is staying with you.

 

Kevin Brock, manager of Southern League Premier Division club Banbury United, has added two more players to his squad ahead of the new campaign.

 

Brock has signed former Brackley Town midfielder Paul Lamb from Aylesbury United and Jon Gardner from troubled Thame United.

 

Both played in Tuesday night's 2-0 friendly defeat at home to Swindon Supermarine.

 

Lamb was captain of fellow Southern Premier side Aylesbury last season following his move from Brackley last summer.

 

The 30-year-old, who has also played for Buckingham Town, Hemel Hempstead Town and Boreham Wood, will operate in the defensive midfielder position Brock has been keen to fill.

 

Left-sided midfielder Gardner, 23, has joined from troubled club Thame who have had a recent visit from the bailiffs.

 

However, one player who will not be wearing the red shirt next season is former Oxford City defender Andy Ballard, who has performed a late U-turn and opted to join Ryman League Premier Division outfit Slough Town instead.
