Yeah, it should be a top day. England to win the toss, and get to lunch about 80/0. Their moaning fast bowlers will start to get fuc*ed off, bring on Warne and Tresco will be well set by then and start smacking him all over the shop.

Lets hope so. I heard an Aussie on the radio comment on the team and all he said was (Brett Lee's gunna rip there balls off'. Well I certainly wouldnt want to be facing him. Think he is going to be a big part of the Aussie team.

I'd rather win this Ashes series than England win the World Cup next year, to be honest.

I never thought I'd see myself thinking this way, but at the moment I'm fed up with all these overpaid greedy premiership players (Ferdinand is a prime example.) The majority of them never play to the best of their ability in a major tournament and end up losing. (I don't include Rooney in this.)

 

I'd much prefer us to win the Ashes than the World Cup next year to. At least our cricketers are at the moment showing a lot of pride and passion. Come on England.

Hoggard struggled early to consistently hit a line and length, but when he did get it all right it was a beauty. Hayden will be utterly disappointed, but you can see England are over the moon Ricky Ponting, the Australian captain, comes out to the middle at the fall of the first wicket
