Johnny Morgan hit a screamer in the first half forcing a lovely save from the keeper.

 

Maurice Byfield scored and he just looked so hungry for the net.

 

And to quote a fellow fan Stevenson scored with a Rocket of a penalty.

 

Town scored 3 goals shame one was in our own net but hey we looked the better team with another gear available if needed. We tested two new keepers to try to live up to the Chopper leg-end. Chopper saving his energy allegedly. Everybody looked fit and up for it which is going to make competition for every team place competitive.

 

Nice to see Tommy Morgan playing for Cheshunt. Surprised to see Precious Koko playing for them too!

I only managed to see the second half as I was late away from work. Town looked pretty good from the half I saw.

 

As a new Towner it was a surprise to see so many new faces out there. Was it a more familiar line up in he 1st hhalf?

 

I think that's the smallest keeper I've ever seen! Who was he? Number 3 looked a little flashy but he did pass ome good balls up front.

 

Maurice's goal was good- it's a shame it took a correction before he got the credit.

 

Does anyone know when the season tickets will arrive? I'm going on holiday tomorrow and I get back just before the season opener.

wot a rip off; 8 quid to get; and 4 for kids then the cheeky beggars wanted 1.50 for a below average programme.

 

I know times is hard for all clubs, but really, a pre season friendly, against a team that should be in our own division......

 

 

anyway the footie was quite good, some decent looking players out there, and Steve Baldwin as well.

 

Good to see Supa Kev with the captains arm band on in the second half; maybe that is why they played better?

 

Duke - it is not unusual to have a lot of trialist in our pre season games; there tends to be a lot of churn at this level of football at this time of year.

 

bring on Saturday; 6 quid to get in, a new shop, and cheap beer.!

The second half team was a couple of squad players and 7 or 8 trialists.Concidering that, they played well.First half team was probably 80% of our starting line up.Just Nyman,Green,and Allen still on holiday.I thought Kojo?? was the boy Bernaud who played a couple of games for us last year.Very similar ability.

I think we may have lost Fruitbat. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I see he clapped both of the Cheshunt goals,but kept his arms firmly crossed when the town scored.Shame on you Fruitus. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I see you townies have had your say and i think you have made some valid points.

£8 to get in is steep for a friendly i think £5 would have been more like it and the beer should have been cheaper.

As for the game i reckon Town looked the better side going forward in particular.The side that came out for the 2nd half looked even more threatening.I wish we could could have tested the 2nd half goalie he looked a bit small.

We have to get some decent forwards or it is going to be a struggle for us but i think you could have a decent season.

Georgiou 2 old. Gregoriou will always been rubbish I'm afraid. Koko is a great signing. U looked pretty solid at the back first half. Maybe the fact u took Reddington off upset the back line and thats why we looked more threatening in the second half.

Saying that the little fella on the left wing second half looked a bit useful for the Town.
