Spoke to him before the game saturday, was really down about not playing (as was I).

 

Am just hoping that it was a case of wanting to give all the new lads a run out as he seems to be a nice lad.

got to trust the guv i am afraid,i know he has a place in the urchins history with the arseley goal but it could be that he could get kicked alot this season,and it may dent his confidence,i would like to see him given a chance though saying that!

You cant play everyone, if you could we would be a shoe in ! It is the first friendly of the season.

 

The Three Amigos know what Tony can do, but it's up to them to decide if other options are better. The side have a friendly today where another XI will play so Tony may play tonight. I'm sure Tony will get and take his chance !

I think there are a few who I would have liked to have seen but Tony M like others he will have to wait for his chance. Our squad is 30 odd and we could only name 16. I also thought we needed a big lad up front and Tony unfortunately isn't the tallest. Plenty of friendlies to come though.

Tony played tonight in a friendly vs kelvdon hatch

 

and he done well...we won 4 nil with goals from danny gill...lee springer....ade lovelace...and ...john hefford...

 

all the new lads done well and with last years under 19s also doing there stuff..... a very good win
