Players - Rumour has it !

Sorry but thats what I heard & from a good source. It can never be taken as read until its official but as you will know I try to give others the latest whether it be true or false. Dont we all do that? Anyway for my part Rocky wouldnt be too much of a loss just so long as CK brings in a forward that will do the business. I have never been a great fan of Rocky's anyway despite him putting in some credible performances. Charalambous also wont be missed though again someone with the same attitude but with a bit more experience wouldnt go amiss to replace him. And as far as Ross Smith goes, this will be the hardest to bear. Was my number one player last term and he will be sorely missed.

But again, lets understand that whilst there is no smoke & all that this news has NOT been confirmed so lets kep our heads up. Just thought people should know whats going round.

Thanks for info cookie, must agree with you on first two but like you would hate to lose Ross! Lets hope his trials go badly for Woking, although I doubt it! Fingers crossed some more news on decent players for the 'gate soon

Alex played for Crawley at Horley last week, along with lots of other trialists. Didn't play v Millwall on Saturday. Rocky not involved in either game.

Don't think Woking have played any friendlies yet but they've got a game on Saturday so it'll be interesting to see is Ross is involved. They're looking for a replacement for Jon Boardman and I guess he'd be a likely candidate.

Well, 3 sides are a decent stadium, the other side comprises 3 steps purporting to be a terrace, behind which is a wall with a fence.

Not really sure what can be done with the last side, as it might prove difficult to build there.

I disagree with you about the decent team. Agreed they are quality, but they are a bit dirty and cynical.

We have already let two very influential players go in Clarke and Stadhart and Ross would certainly be a big loss too. He was my player of the season with many commanding performances. If Annon is staying and is fit then this would soften the blow somewhat. Rocky would be less so imo(I was never his biggest fan!) and his apparent wage demands would make it impossible to keep him anyway. I think he would also see himself as better than Ryman league standards. Alex is a wholehearted player who could do ok in a wide midfield role. Critics of his don't forget he was playing many matches out of position as a wing back. He is definitely better in an attacking role imo.Hopefully there will be a few useful triallists turning out for us at Tonbridge tomorrow (maybe even Leon Braithwaite!) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm told tonite's team includes Jjunju, Mitten, Barnett, Keister, Hilaire, Edwards, Green, Gradley and many trialists - oh and score is 0-0
