Your help is needed this Saturday (23rd)! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

 

Following on from last years successful day in the High street, 1000 fixture lists have been printed and we need as many supporters to be in the town square to hand them out.

 

It is a great opportunity to promote the club and raise awareness for this coming season’s campaign.

 

We will be meeting in the town Square (outside Boots) at 10am, please be in Slough colours. Obviously we will finish in time to make the short trip to Burnham to see the opening friendly of the season.

There should be a lot of people about to give the leaflets out to. Between 11-4 on Saturday, the town square is being taken over by the television company who have been filming 'Making Slough Happy'. There will be an art montage revealed followed by live music. This event will be filmed and be shown in the series which is due to be aired on BBC2 in the autumn.

 

It would be great to see a lot of Rebels proudly wearing their colours at what promises to be quite an interesting community event. Obviously people will want to head off for the Burnham game later on, but it could be good for the club if people wearing their shirt are seen to be participating in this event. So if you are invited to help unveil part of the montage then do so.

 

I'm going to be at the event as a participant of the programme but if I have the opportunity to hand out fixture lists as well, I will do so. I hope to see lots of you there.

sorry I can not be there on saturday ...appreciate as many slough shirts to be viewed...plus the lads and lasses need help to hand out fixture lists..

BFR can you co ordinate ?

 

You may need a table.

plus if anyone can go to Windsor on friday morning between 10-12 ...to ask Vic if he can give you the Slough Town Supporters Trust Banner...you could use that in the high street too...

 

take a copy of this posting to shown vic... as he may ask who needs it...

 

please please do your best for the Rebels...

Chris, I'm in no position to co-ordinate, given that I'm helping to set things up for the tv event from very early on Saturday morning. If I have the chance to hand out some leaflets I will but the chances are I will be tied up with that. Is there any chance of Dom or somebody being the 'co-ordinator' given that I expect he will the flyers?

Ian or Kay are you able to get to windsor on friday morning between 10-12 ? and ask for vic...he will be able to fine our banner which could be used in the high street ..it looks good...

 

anyone else able to bring a small table, so this could be used as your base ??

 

Tony Shambrooke will be bringing 1000 leaflets/fixture lists...(is this enough ?)
