Sorry about this guy he is talking rubbish , you aren't the worst team we have played at all ! , Kwashi causes many problems because he is a very decent player. Your team were well organized but we broken by a excellent strike by Lee Glover

Firstly, thanks for calling me a "[****!!****]". It demonstrates a level of wit, intelligence and vocabulary not seen before and must make you look hard in front of your mates. To you, and to the other more intelligent postings by G & N fans on the Brewersnet Forum concerning my postings, I feel that I must reply.

 

I wasn't actually having a go at The Fleet. I think you have a pretty good team and a nice set of supporters. I do have an opinion, and yes, I realise that my opinion is going to be somewhat biased as I am a Burton Albion supporter and have been for many years. What I actually meant by my post (and I feel you may have over-reacted somewhat and perhaps taken me out of context) was that I felt that we had played better teams in the Conference and that I thought that our performance deserved the three points which we didn't get. You may disagree, and that is your right. I'm not sure it warrants calling me a "[****!!****]" but if that is your level, run with it. If I have caused any offence to you good people then I apologise. I wish you all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to visiting your place later in the season. By the way, my Ferret is fine and at home, sitting in my flat cap, drinking brown ale, eating lard sandwiches and smoking a "tab".

of course Burton have played better teams in the conference.....

 

.....if we were the best team we would be top of the league.

 

That said, Burton are no different to us, in the sense that that both teams are newly promoted and the plan for this season should be consolidation.

 

However we played better teams than Burton (after knocking them out) in the FA Cup last season - which is why we got knocked out by Huddersfield. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/biggrinangelA.gif" alt="" />

 

I seem to remember certain people from Burton complimenting us last season (qoute: ' the best team to play us all season ') so to hear comments from yourself, whether taken out of context or not, are quite bewildering and amusing. <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

Indeed you were the best team we played last season and you were deserved winners in that FA Cup match. I was one of the Burton fans who said as much at the time. I am also sure that you are good enough this season to finish mid-table or above, which is where I also hope The Brewers will be. As I said before, all the best for the rest of the season.

Yes that is me and the three other reprobates in the band. I'm the good looking one <img src="/forums/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" /> Looks like Black Sabbath - I don't think you could have paid me a higher compliment. I am a massive fan of the brummie foursome.

 

On your second point, you're right, nothing to get upset about at all. I've been called worse things.

Ah yes.... the mighty Sabbath......totally brilliant....have you watched The Osbournes on MTV....it's really good !! ( well I think so anyway !...even the wife has laughed !!)

 

 

I too am a Sabbath fan....so looks like all has ended amicably...... see you March 1st.
