Apparently he's gone to the underdogs on the other side of the island.( only joking footballfan ). He'll always be a margate player at heart but a good adition I think!

Why do people say things like "he'll always be a margate player at heart"? Do you think if he had the opportunity to score (I assume he's an outfield player!) against you in a derby match they he would hesitate thinking "Oh I am and always really be a Margate player at heart"???

It's a cliche I've heard said about lots of players but I accept I know nothing about this guy and he may be different, but do you really think so?

No in fact I think I do know about him and I'm not sure why I feel this dislike of him...

Tell me why, I don't like Munday!

(Yes I know all that for a Boomtown Rats joke!)

That move was always on the cards. I think he may have taken the easier option of dropping a league and because of that he will do a fair job for the Rams I believe. Isnt he closer to home here too?.

Im sure he would score against Margate given the chance thats his job and nobodys saying that.

But some players will always be firm favorites with the fans and Marks one of them <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Odds on Paul Lamb will join him at the Rams, they seem to follow each other around. Although if Mark Green doesn't stay I wouldn't bet against Lamby coming back to us.

Why so much enthusiasm among many Gate fans to sign good players who have left when past their prime-Munday, Lamb, Leon.

Were good players and still ok, but surely we want to progress.

If we are to sign players from lower/similar divisions, surely they need to be up and coming players who will get better.

Surely we want to get ot of this league and thus need quality and energy.

Not those who are ok,can have good days, won't be able to play 50 games a season

Before the end of the season Munday had come to ramsgate an they registered him to play with us although he was still at Folkstone which ment that if we where short of players he would play for us when he did this i wondered if we got promoted he would stay an he has

It is true that like his brother he began at the Rams. Getting Paul Lamb back (another one who began with us) would be great as well!

I accept that if Margate want to get promoted from the Rymans Premier they won't be looking at 34 year olds even if he has done a great job for Margate in the past, but he'll be good for us with so many youngsters new to this standard of football.

By the way, liked the joke about Lambs following

Rams - nice to see some genuine wit!

To make a good team you need to have a mixture of experienced players and young players. This way you secure a future and the the expereince is needed in certain situations. Also experieced players help to settle young players down and are good to give tips and advice.

A mixture is the key. Not too much on one side but not too many on the other.
