Vieira was a great player, and influence and all that but he's always spending a thrid of the season either injured or suspended. And when we relied on him that space where he was meant to be was wide open, Wenger's Plan B was to put everyone in midfield to cover for the Man From Senegal so no player knew who was doing what.

 

So it is a good thing we've offloaded a 29 year old for some decent money in the close season. This could have happened in January and really cocked up the [****!!****].
