Oh, how times have changed. A few years ago me, my brother and our mates were playing football with him down Dane Park! Obviously, that's where he was spotted by a scout!

Picked him up from Lesters and took him and his mates to Yates a couple of days(Bristol City didn't have a game that weekend) after his England u21 debut. Compared to the lads with him he seemed more mature and spoke very well. He took time as his mates rushed into the pub,to talk.He was made up with the England game and as we agreed what ever happens in the future, the experience of running out with a England shirt on would stay with him forever. I wish him well at Reading, Steve Coppel was a great player and is a shrewd manager.Hopefully he will take Leroy on to the next level.Like the Gaaaaaaaaate, Leroy,Onwards and upwards to a greater future.

I hope Leroy does well, but i don't think he will cut it in the championship and will get bombed out in a year’s time. I also saw Leroy in a club in Bristol earlier in the year, he look like an arrogant dick who kept flashing his cash around with his yardie wannabe mates!!

The only other local boy i can think of is a guy called Jamie Forrester, he is at a bristol club now, started at Leeds scored a hatrick on his debut in the fa cup,

 

He is a Margate boy, was brought up on thye milmead estate before moving to Blackpool, he must be 30 now, look him up if you dont believe me

Can see Leroy following his mate Nathan Ellington into the Premiership very soon. He's got plenty of talent and perhaps him and Kitson can get the goals to put Reading up there.
