Bear in mind Ramsgate is the second team in Thanet, below Margate. When Ramsgate is a division above Margate then you can go off trying to make wise crack jokes, but until then understand Ramsgate is one division below Margate.

 

Margate is getting better. Its without doubt in a better situation than it was one year ago. The only problem right now is the CVA but thats not related to the team. Had Margate not had the transfer embargo essentially put Margate in a sporting straight-jacket, Margate wouldnt have been struggling to get a team together and perhaps Margate might have survived last season. It was certainly possible.

 

Out of curiosity will you be attending the Ramsgate-Margate game next month?

i think it is a long the line that the new sponsor has given Margate incentives to progress in the FA Cup. Active signs are a nationwide company and of course the more national press coverage they can take using Maragte the better for both clubs.

James there is no logic when you talk to this person.He thinks he is a ramsgate fan becaues jumping on the band wagon when ramsgate have had there best season he somehow thinks that they are a force,well good luck to ramsgate I think they will need all the luck they can get to stay in the league they have got themselves into.

I have been a Ramsgate fan all my life an have been attending matches since i was 6.We will not get relegated or be in the relegatiom either when april comes.We will be a good test for Margate on 8/13 the result wil probally be the same as last years thoe.When may comes we will look back at are season and you will look back at yours an i think us reds will be happier than you!

Has Southwood has its planning application for floodlights dealt with yet? After having a look at the plans of that idea it looks like Planning Committee might have some problems with over-looking of neighbours, which is a refusal reason.
