Prediction League!!!!

Hot on the heels of the sweepstake at the end of last season which was very successful (in that nobody won and the money got donated to the sponsored walk fund!), now comes this seasons new improved game.

 

The Prediction League is simple! Just predict the finishing order of the Ryman Premier League from 1 to 22. That’s all there is to it!

 

Scoring is allocated based on how far away teams are from your predicted placings. For example, if you predict Slough Town to finish 1st (obviously) and they are in 6th, then that’s 5 points. Similary, if you predict Windsor & Eton will finish 24th and they manage by some fluke to get as high as 21st, that’s 3 points!

 

The winner is the person with the lowest score. In the event of a tie on points, the person with the most correctly placed teams wins.

 

I will update the prediction league weekly showing the participants and their current point standings. This way, the prediction league will generate interest throughout the season as scores change each week.

 

Entry is £5 with 50% of the money collected going to the winner and the remaining 50% to the Supporters Trust.

www.skybet.co.uk and click on football then non-league football. At the foot of that page are the Skybet odds for the Ryman League which will give you an idea although I'd expect you to apply a degree of your own opinion in your predictions!
