Every time Canvey play Hornchurch, Pikey and other comments about travellers are sung loud, chants are condoned and sung by most of your supporters.

 

The Commission for Racial equality has defined gypsy Travellers as a race in their own right and are recognised by the race relations act as a race in their own right and therefore protected as an identifiable race by law.

 

So when you and your racist mates sing "Pikey scum" it is as offensive and illegal as singing "ni****r scum" to a black man.

 

If an official complaint was made to a police officer present he would be legally obliged to arrest the offenders.
