I know the game is listed on the West Ham web site, but it's not on ours.

Only the hard core afch supporters and subscribers of this forum seem to know it's on.

Still no posters up in local shops.

Not seen anything in the local press.

Surly this is potentially one of the biggest gates of the season.

Danglers not wind up merchant and Sorry BU I have to agree with him (no disrespect to anybody but) I have the Recorder and cannot see any reference to the game and I haven't seen any posters. I've been doing my best to let all the 'ammers fans know that the games on of course. A few went on the website and couldn't find any details either so I told them to ring the club.

Hmmmmmmmm...well lets see....danglers right about our website but thats being 'rearranged' as we speak so apologies for that...but 100's of fly posters have been sent out...its all over the urchins forum and hammers on line and it was also on the back page of last fridays recorder...as indeed I am reliably informed it will be again this week....

 

we need more arms and legs chaps...thats what we are short of...so any help to promote this game will be appreciated....posters can be downloaded from the website and delivered to local stores or picked up from the clubhouse and delivered to local stores...arms and legs chaps...arms and legs..... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I went to download poster on HFC site and the only one I could find , was against Redbridge on 26 March last season, am I being thick, or led up the garden path !!!!!!!! any help ??????

You have to buy the Recorder.

You get the Post and Advertiser delivered if you want them or not, and its not in them.

I've just left a pub a Cranham and 5 guys said they hadn't heard but will come with their kids and one of them will be in tomorrow night to buy tickets.

I'm not criticising anyone as I know the game has only just been confirmed and promotion takes time.

Have the other pre season games been advertised ?

Can the U16’s or our supporters’ kids put up posters in their schools ?

 

I just want the club to do well and maximise its potential.

I’ll be in the clubhouse tomorrow night if you think I need a good f!sting.

you are absolutely right dangler but there are many many issues that the club have had to deal with in the past 5 months....

 

yes this is a big game for the club...(we have had bigger...tranmere...FA Cup at home)..and we all want it to be a big success....

 

many many people are working very very hard at the moment to promote the club and its forthcoming fixtures...I know you mean well but posting your personal dissatisfaction on here won't actually help....

 

getting down the club and helping promote the pre-seasons will....

ha ha...well....thats the kind of thing that gets the old turnstyles ratling dangler...well done mate for initiative...can't beat a good old 'think tank' at the bar canya.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

in the meantime I think that everyone needs to pull together duntyathink and get behind the guys working their sox orf at the club everyday...

 

wus down there today for me breakie and dave and barry and max and jonno and jen and sal were all at it cutting hedges and mowing lawns and seeding pitches and ordering stuff for saturdays bar and food for the restaurant....loads of fly posters to be sent out but no one to do 'em....but the good old urchinett's are up for that come friday....

 

and tony and steve wus there as well beavering away in the club shop....sorting out all the new strips and goodies for the shop....counting shirts and socks and hats and scarfs and other stuff ...youknowduntya...stock taking things an' all that.....and filling up the tizer and lucozade and cola fridges as well for the kids on saturday.......ice cream as well wouldyabelieve...cor blimey...wot next...candy floss and jellied eels.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

loads going on and so much to do....good people working very hard and not a winge to be heard....

 

my old granny always said...talks cheap..bricks build houses....she knew the score the canny old irish bint.....anyoldways....we've got a big game on saturday and an even bigger season in front of us after that....

 

these guys that do things for nowt and don't complain or shout their own praises really do make me feel very humble at times ya know....

 

there's always so much to do and never enough people to do it....
