The article also stated that we are interested in signing 19 year old Andy Ballard from Oxford City.

 

Roy Merryweather is quoted as saying "The FA are trying to help clubs, and if they can they will. What we are aiming for is the signing off of 2004/5 and 2005/6--which will run under a different banner. We cannot do that until the previous season is sorted. But it has got to a point where Martyn Deaner is very confident everything is going well."

 

Try as I might, I don't know what this means,yet I suspect that it means something rather important. Can anyone translate?

Lots of familiar faces were at training last night, including Hodges, Harris, Parkin, Sheppard, Metcalfe, Leigh Mason, Kassim, Seedel, Carbon and a guy called Adam Paget who has turned out for the reserves on a number of occasions. There were more players there than those named above but I wasn't there to do a scouting mission, so please accept my apologies for coming up wit a comprehensive list.

I didn't say Sauls because I didn't see him. However, I was glancing from a distance in the middle of a meeting a long way from what was going on and could quite easily have missed him.
